Q: How to make an order?

ORDER POLICY

Poker Manic has 2 types of order availability options.

1. In stock: Dispatch within 24 hours during working days or direct purchase from our retail stores

2. Out Of stock /Backorder: Post / self-collection (at stores)  within a certain amount of days

Due to the restricted storage space, we only have limited stock for some of our products and may easily be sold out. Hence, if the product you have paid for goes out of stock, we will inform you immediately through email. Usually, we will automatically have your item backordered unless if you prefer to have the order cancelled, we will refund you the full payment.

“Out of stock” means that we currently have sold out this item on our shelves, but we can easily get it from our distributors.

“Backordered” means that we will help to speed up the “out of stock” order process from our suppliers and get the item for you as soon as possible. Since it usually takes a certain number of working days (depending on the distributor) for the item to reach us, it is thus difficult for us to provide you an exact date of arrival of the product. Nevertheless, we will notify you immediately when the product has arrived.

PLEASE NOTE: Items that are in the “Backordered” purchases do NOT mean that they are guaranteed to be in stock. Sometimes, even the distributor may be out of stock for the items. If this is the case, whereby you happen to purchase something on “backorder” that will not be available to us within the predefined number of working days, we will let you know immediately by email and we will refund the full amount back to you. Otherwise, we will contact you out as soon as it comes in stock.

IMPORTANT: If you happen to order a mixture of “In Stock” and “Backordered” items, then your “in stock” items will be sold to you first. Backordered items will be sent as soon as we have them. In this way, you can still enjoy your other fabulous poker items first instead of waiting for the rest to arrive.

Q: How do I make payment?

Payment methods:

To order, just simply follow the shopping cart process on the Poker Manic website. When you see an item you want, click "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now", bringing you directly to the "Checkout". You will then see all the different payment method options available to you.

1. COD (Extra handling charges apply)- Within Singapore

Only applicable for items above SGD500 or for bulky products like tables, roulette wheels, and 500 to 1,000 pieces or more poker chip sets.

2. Paypal

A preferred method – it’s safe, fast and free of charge for all buyers!

or Credit Card - Visa, Mastercard (Via Paypal)

3. Bank Deposits - For Singapore (POSB/DBS) and Australian accounts only

Via any ATM/internet banking

4. Term Cash - For Singapore only

Cash is obviously the simplest payment method. This is applicable only if you make an order/ purchase directly at the shop, please do not purchase online. You may simply pay cash in our retail stores or do COD when you product arrives at your delivery address.

NOTE: If you are paying by paypal, bank deposits, personal cheque, obviously your order won't be sent until we have verified the payment. As soon as that happens, we will have your order dispatched within 24 hours. Payments that are not made or received within 2 weeks from date of order will be automatically cancelled.

Q: I prefer a meet-up instead, can this method be done?

Due to the limited store space in our shops, we may not have all the on-line products available in all our stores. Hence, please kindly contact our sales person and provide us with the product code AND the FULL name of the product that you will be interested in. A 50% deposit is required to make an order at the store. Depending on the availability of each product, we will then bring in the product for you as soon as possible.

Q: The poker product I wish to purchase is too heavy and bulky to collect. Do you do postage instead? What are the postage methods?

POSTAGE METHODS

For local orders (Singapore only): For fast and efficient service, Poker Manic does Cash on Delivery Services (COD). There will be an additional $25 for delivery charge. It is really not very expensive if you compare it with the shocking postage charges when you purchase in overseas website. COD is only applicable to bulky items like poker tables, roulette wheels and 1,000 poker chips sets.

Poker Manic is proud to post worldwide! All of our items go through a thorough quality inspection and properly wrapped. We process your orders as soon as we receive them. Most Poker Manic products will be dispatched within the next or the following business day by 6pm GMT+8. Please note that business days do not include weekends and most international public holidays. A confirmation email will be sent to you once parcel has been dispatched.

Most Poker Manic products will deliver via International Air mail (Singpost) which is a reliable, safe postage method.

Singapore – 2 to 3 working days (only for lighter and less bulky items)

Generally Air mail postage to these countries take approximately:

Most Asia countries – 5 to 10 working days

Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea – 7 to 11 working days

United States, Canada, North and South America – 8 to 14 working days (Please note that there might be extra delays during shipping to United States and Canada due to the strict custom checks within the country)

UK, all other European countries – 8 to 14 working days (Please note that there might be extra delays during shipping to Italy and France due to the strict custom checks within the country)

All delivery times are estimated by our local post office, hence we cannot be responsible for any late arrival of shipment unless is it INSURED or REGISTERED which is optional during payment time. For some products that have high value or high rates of stolen or loss records, insurance is required.

While most orders arrive to customers swiftly, purchases during the holidays to distant destinations may take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive. However, we highly recommend you to INSURE (Register) your parcel which is optional during payment time, as Poker Manic will not be liable of any loss of parcels or delayed shipping.

For a more speedy or urgent service or items that are very heavy (eg. Poker chip sets) choose "SpeedPost Worldwide Courier (EMS)" or “Fedex Express” shipping method which includes tracking number to track your package. It's safer and faster. Please email us to request for express shipping.

Note: We are not responsible for taxes incurred when products enter your country. Customers have to bear the responsibility to pay taxes if the declared amount on the customs form exceeds your countries limits.

Q: Is there any discount in combine shipping?

Shipping Charges and Combined Postage Discounts

Poker Manic values all customers! Hence there will definitely be discounts when you purchase more!

All postage prices will be based on the weight of the individual items. Postage Discount is applicable for 2 items and above and must be shipped to the same address. There will be a 10% discount off the total combined postage charges.

To bring on greater savings to you, there will be an additional 5% off to the combine postage discount (means 15% combine postage discount!) for items purchased above SGD1,000. To give you an even better deal, we will also provide a free insurance service to your shipment! This ensures that your items will reach you safely and in no time.

Q: Can refunds be made?

Return/Refund Policy

1. COD/ Direct purchases at our retail stores:

For items that are purchased on-the-spot, products have to be examined carefully before making payment as Poker Manic will NOT entertain refunded items after being sold.

2. For shipped goods: 

However, if in any case, the item has a defect or damaged during shipping, we offer an exchange of the same product. The damaged product has to be returned to us and we will send a new one to you free of charge. We will only issue exchanges for defective items within 3 DAYS of date of received goods. Photos of the damaged item and the stamped date on the parcel may be requested be taken and emailed to Poker Manic for verification purposes. Poker Manic in any way, reserves the rights not to accept any exchange if the item is suspected to be misused or purchased elsewhere. This is to prevent people from using perfectly good items, then damaging them and expecting us to pay for the new ones.

Q: Can I change the denomination for my poker chips?

Only for certain poker chip styles, the denominations can be changed. As some of the poker chip sets have fixed denominations which are already pre-set by the manufacturer. Change of denomination is subject to availability of the poker chip denomination pattern.

Q: Is poker illegal in Singapore?

Poker Manic products sold are sole for home entertainment or collection purposes only! We will not be responsible or liable for any misuse of our poker products for illegal gambling means. Poker Manic reserves the rights to not sell any of our products if the buyer is being suspected of performing illegal in-house gambling.

Q: I’m purchasing a gift… but I’ve no idea what to buy. Do you have any suggestions?

Purchasing Gift Certificates

Not sure what to buy for a gift to someone?? Get Poker Manic Gift Certificates! Gift Certificates are in the form of codes. You can give the code in a gift card, or email it as a gift. The code can be entered in the "Gift Certificate Box" upon checking out online. Gift Certificates are purchased just like any other items in our store. You can pay for them using the stores standard payment method(s). Once purchased the value of the Gift Certificate will be added to your own personal Gift Certificate Account. If you have funds in your Gift Certificate Account, you will notice that the amount now shown in the Shopping Cart box, and we will also provide a link to a page where you can send the Gift Certificate to someone via email. Please note that gift certificates are not refundable or exchangeable for cash.
